Is your site still using traditional methods to lift Gully’s? if so there is a new , safe and easy to use method to lift and transport gully’s, Designed and tested with Stanton Bonna Concrete.
The Gully Hook was designed to make road gully handling and installation Safer, Quicker and Easier.
The Gully hook is simple to use and has no working mechanical parts.
Key features include:
- Two optional lifting points, one for DN375mm, and one for DN450mm
- sizes.
- Safety chain ensures secure, safe handling.
- Lifts all heights of gully up to and including 1200mm
- Working load limit of the gully hook is 350kg
- Conforms to relevant EC directives for safety of machinery, and CE marked accordingly.
This handy solution has been designed to fit snugly in the gully spout without the need to remove the rodding eye cover or to damage the gasket.
The addition of a safety chain means that a full loop around the spout is made (see top photo on the right).
Correct fitting, with the hook face flat to the inside wall, will ensure that the gully hook can never accidentally become disengaged.
The Gully Hook has been designed to lift gullies from the laid down position to an upright position till hanging plumb.
